New Year - Goals?




What are your goals for the upcoming year? ⁠ ⁠ It is what everyone will ask you. We do not want to get into the thought of, "I am changing x, y, and z on January 1st." ⁠It is about understanding the level of commitment that is needed to pull this off!⁠ ⁠ Start by establishing some actual goals for yourself. Create three categories that you are really focused on. For example; soccer, school, and life. Three topics that you experience at least once a day.⁠ ⁠ Make the goals fun and put them somewhat in line with your already established habits. Have them be challenging, but nothing that will take you to extreme measures of life within the first few months or even year. Such as run 5 miles a day when currently do not even run 1. That's how failure is most likely to happen. If you have the end goal of something that is currently out of reach then start by making subgoals to achieve along the way.⁠ ⁠ Be thankful that you are in the position to better yourself in ways that YOU see fit. Share some of your goals in public with friends to allow yourself to be held accountable. ⁠ ⁠ Hope this helps.
