My Week at Arsenal’s Academy

In December, I had the incredible opportunity to spend time at Hale End, Arsenal’s Academy. I wanted to learn from a proven, top level development system—and I wasn’t disappointed. Not showing any bias, but the professionalism, humility, and structure I observed were world-class.

Rather than standing on the sidelines, the Arsenal coaching staff invited me onto the field, into their sessions, and even onto the match-day bench. What stood out most was the culture of respect and purpose—players treated everyone with dignity, and it was clear they were being prepared for life, not just the game.
